Becoming a parent bring along with it huge responsibilities. Parenting is a time taking process and parents need to be attentive towards their kids in all the actions. Parents should be demanding as well as responsive to their kids and hence a strong relationship is nurtured between them. Working parents handle the dual responsibilities of work and children. It becomes difficult be a good parent along with the added pressure of work. They do not find enough time to spend with their children and the parent kid bond keeps getting weaker.
Many working parents have proved that proper management of time and routines is helpful in the process of parenting. Getting up early before kids wake up, making a quick and a good healthy breakfast what kid likes and dropping them to school makes a kid happy. Likewise while you are back from your work place, pick the kids from school, talk to them, get them chocolates or pastries if they demand and ask the kid how the day was in school. These small routines can keep you and your kids attached to each other. Give your kids a good nap, and make some good food so that they enjoy it and spent time with them around the dining table. Switch off television sets and spent some time playing with kids too. Teach them their daily lessons of school and put them on bed early. Make a time table of when to wake up and when to sleep. If there is heavy load of work and you feel like proper time is not given to kids, husband and wife should share the responsibilities with one another. Parenting is a slow process which can be done effectively by managing proper things at proper time. Working people can also manage their kids like any other parent do. The art of parenting is an enjoyable process as it shows you each and every part of a child’s development.
